March 27, 2009 - Residential structure fire on Payne Ave. The first unit on the scene found light smoke in the home, coming from a trash can. The home owner had been using linseed oil on their floors and had put the rag in a trash can. Spontaneous Combustion occured straring a smouldering fire in the trash can. Other than the smoke, there was no damage. PCVFC Chief Dicky Gladding was the officer in charge.
