Pocomoke City - March 8, 2009 - 8:06 p.m. - Residential structure fire - Cedar St.- When the first unit arrived flames were visible in the kitchen (front window of the house). It was reported the the fire started from a grease fire on the stove that spread into the wall cabinets. In addition to the fire damage in the kitchen there was also heat and smoke damage. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire keeping the fire damage contained in the one room. There were no injuries reported. PCVFC Chief Dicky Gladding was the officer in charge
