Have you ever been to "South of the Border"? They have their own Fire Dept. Thanks to Dean Goldsborough (Crisfield FD) for the picture.

Hope Town, population about 300, is located on Elbow Cay, a small island in the Bahamas. Settled during the Revolutionary War by colonist from the Carolinas who were loyal to the British Crown. Residents are mostly blue eyed, tow headed and impossible in their dialect to distinguish them from residents of Tangier or Smith Island.
