MVA - Mar. 21, 2009 - 2:43 p.m. - Rt. 113 (Worcester Hwy) North of Lambertson Rd. - Single vehicle involving a Perdue tractor-trailer truck (South bound). Pocomoke Fire & Rescue used forcible entry on the passenger side of the tractor so the dirver could exit. It was reported that the driver only received minor injuries, however he was transported to an area hospital. The truck was traveling empty....South bound. Rt. 113, South bound, was closed for several hours. Worcester Co. Special Hazards Response Team was called because fuel was spilling into Bachelors Barnch. The accident was investigated by The Maryland State Police.
PCVFC 2nd. Lt., Eric Denston was the officer in charge.
