Troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin barrack responded to a fatal single car collision on Route 113 early Sunday.

The responding trooper found that a Chevrolet Impala, driven by Jordon Deione Harmon, 20, was traveling south bound along Route 113, also known as Worcester County Highway south of Lambertson Road, when he drifted off the roadway and collided with a telephone pole and a brick pillar, according to a statement released from Maryland State Police.
The Impala overturned at least once, police said. Witnesses told police the driver was traveling between 60 and 65 miles per hour at the time. Alcohol does not appear to be a contributor to the accident, police said.
