James D. "Choppy" Layton
In recognition of meritorious service on behalf of the firefighters of the State of Maryland
which has been brought to the attention of this association and upon review of
your accomplishments are herby inducted into the
Firefighters Hall of Fame

to bear witness to your outstanding efforts,
knowledge, integrity, prudence and ability as displayed
by the evidence of your accomplishemnts.

On May 8, 2009, at the Annual Delmarva Fireman's Convention, Pocomoke City Firefighter, "Choppy" Layton was inducted into The Firefighter's Hall of Fame. Choppy has been active in the PCVFC since 1968.
