Dec. 10, 2011 4:54 p.m. the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co. responded to what was reported as a residential structure fire on Markst St. When firefighters arrived they found that the expansion tank on the boiler had ruptured, spilling water on the hot boiler. The steam appeared as smoke and was reported as a fire. There was no fire.
