April 8, 2010 7:31 a.m. The Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co. responded to a fire alarm at Hartley Hall Nursing Home, on Market St. in the City. Firefighters located smoke in the mechanical room, located on the front of the building. After a search of the room they found a hot water circulation pump that was overheating. There was no other damage to the building and the residents were in no danger. PCVFC Capt. Corey Dean was the officer in charge.
