June 27, 2011 12:23 p.m. Commercial sturcture fire. Pocomoke and Stockton Fire Companies responded to McDonalds in Pocomoke City. New Church was alerted, however, they were cancelled. The rear of the french fry cooker was on fire. McDonalds employees were able to supress the fire with an extinguisher. There was no additonal damage and there were no injuries. McDonalds was closed for a short time for clean-up and repairs. Stockton Chief, Neil Payne was near-by and assumed command of the scene.
