FIRE - 12-21-09 11:51pm. Old Va. Road between Market St & Cedar St. Apartment complex. Kitchen stove fire was quickly extinguished by Pocomoke Firefighters. There was fire and smoke damage in the kitchen area. The fire was investigated by the Wor. Co. Fire Marshal's Office. PVCFC Chief-Dicky Gladding was the officer in charge. Click Here for the official release from the WCFMO. At approximately the same time there was a motor vehicle accident on Buck Harbor Road. New Chruch was dispatched to that location. PCVFC truck 103 was also on location. A single vehicle lost control on the icy road and overturned landing up-right. There were no injuries. the accident was investigated by the Worcester Co. Shferiff's Office.
