From the minutes: 1960 > The Chief ask that all drivers of the fire trucks keep their speed under 50 mph. > Jim willing suggested a siren be placed on the East side of Market St. Chief Henderson advised that a new siren is on order for $40 thru Civil Defense. 1964 > Pocomoke Fire Co. Softball Team won the playoffs. 1965 > The County Alarm system was approved by the County Commisssioners & The County Firemen's Association for a price of $12,000.
