Fire Prevention Day at PES
Friday, October 10, 2025

Today, members of the Pocomoke City Vol. Fire Co., along with Pocomoke City Emergency Medical Services, participated in Fire Prevention Day at Pocomoke Elementary School. Firefighters discussed fire safety, practiced “Stop, Drop, & Roll,” and allowed students to see a firefighter and their tools up close. We are proud to partner with the elementary school to continue educating students about fire safety. A special thank you to the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office for the use of the Fire Safety Trailer. Please review the attached flyer, which provides an overview of lithium-ion batteries.
